How about drawing?
Paint is hard to use for artwork and personally I find drawing on paper alot easier, mabye you could scan something?
Not that I'm a great artist myself or anything

Acton, if you don't have a steady hand then try pivot art. It's much easier to create. And draw in real life as often as possible, but I can relate, I'm a terrible artist.
