His weakness are earth based Justus and solid defenses. Tei comes from two ninja clans, one from the Leaf village and one from the sand. Born in the leaf village he was bullied constantly thus developed his ninja skills while hiding or evading bullies. Joined the academy at the standard age, he was a standard student, nothing special to make him stand out. Passed the Genin test with average marks.

He is not particularly strong but can deliver attacks faster then normal, and is a master at traps, ambushes and lightning fast hit-and-runs. He isn't good at ninjutsu, but is excellent in taijutsu.
Shortcomings: Weak against earth type jutsu's and something with a solid or large defense. Tei has no form of Genjutsu, relying soley on Taijutsu and Ninjustu; is weaker and less skilled in ninjutsu; and relies on speed to fight

The Background Stuff
Family
History: Tei was born in the Sand village, but his father was exiled when he was young and the family moved to the Leaf Village, his mother's home. Although wary at first his mother was accepted back into the ninja ranks while his father opened a small restaurant. However growing up Tei was bullied and shunned due to is family heritage, this later leading to his key ninja speed, agility and hiding. At the age of seven he was accepted in the ninja academy, and it was here that he first put his anti-bully skills to good use. While at the academy he watched some of the Hyuga clan practice the rotation jutsu, and was so impressed he immediately asked if he could learn it too. He was rejected and yelled at for 'spying'. But Tei didn't give up, and started trying to learn it on his own. By the time he was 9 Tei had mastered the Rotation mimic, replacing the chakra with wind and titling it "the Vortex Sphere'. As soon as he had mastered this justu he began thinking of a offensive based vortex jutsu, that mimics the effects of a natural tornado. He began trying to create such a move and spent all his free time working on it, improving and perfecting; by the time he graduated from the academy he still hadn't finished it.

Tei's father and a former sand ninja who now lives in the Leaf Village and runs a small restaurant. Altough he loves his son he has a strict lifestyle and ideals which often clash with his son's beliefs and personality, which leads to allot of fights between the two.
Hana Tatsumaki nee Gēruzumori
Tei's mother and a leaf ninja Jonin who also works in her husbands restaurant. Loves her son but constantly worries about him, and when not on a mission or working she checks in on Tei.
Sabuka Tatsumaki
Tei's uncle and Sakyū's older brother; a sand ninja jonin with a tough no bullshit attitude and a unreadable face. Despite his strict attitude and lack of facial emotions he adores Tei and showers him with gifts whenever he visits the leaf village. Often trains with Tei and his family, but always kicking their asses.
Sabi Tatsumaki
Tei's aunt and Sakyū's younger sister; a tough as nails sand ninja jonin with a tough, strict attitude but more mischievous and jovial then her brothers. She adores Tei and often helps him pull pranks when she visits; often trains with Tei and her family but gets her ass kicked by her older brother Sabuka.
Tsurī Gēruzumori
Tei's aunt and Hana's older sister; a leaf ninja jonin who has a split personality disorder. One second she's all happy, loving and carefree; the next she is sadistic, cruel and extremely scary. Loves Tei and her sister, but dislikes her brother-in-law Sakyū; often trains with Tei or chases him trying to 'play' with him while in her sadistic side.
Shizen Gēruzumori
Tei's aunt and Hana's older sister; the only non-ninja in the famly, instead she runs a floral shop where Tei works after having a fight with his father. She is very sweet and polite, as well as a bit shy, compared to her two outgoing, crazy sisters. Adores Tei and often tries to give him tips on how to romance girls.
Rōwan Gēruzumori
Tei's older cousin and Tsurī's son; a leaf ninja chunin who has a milder version of his mother's split personality. Works part time at his uncle Sakyū's restaurant when not on missions and often trains with Tei.
Kaba Gēruzumori
Tei's older cousin, Rōwan's younger brother and Tsurī's son; a leaf ninja who just graduated to Chunin. Unlike his mother and brother Kaba is sweet, polite, gentle and all round nice, like his aunt Shizen. Works part time at Shizen's floral shop when not on missons and trains with Tei.
Rose Gēruzumori
Tei's younger cousin, Lilly's twin and Shizen's daughter; a student at the ninja academy. She looks up to Tei as her role model and tries to copy nearly everything he does, much to the annoyance of her sister.
Lilly Gēruzumori
Tei's younger cousin, Rose's twin and Shizen's daughter; a student at the ninja academy. Unlike her sister Lilly dislikes Tei, having a family rivalry
and small grudge against him. As such they often tease and annoy each other and get into fights.
Yūhi Tatsumaki
Tei's baby cousin and Sabi's daughter.
