Re: Minecraft!
It's fun, but you have to go into it already enjoying survival or it'll just be a bitch. It's more for people who want a more in depth survival experience without going hardcore mode.

Re: Minecraft!
I think survival creative servers are my favourite sort anyway, creative servers just get rediculous after a couple of weeks, you've only gotta look at some of the old AX server maps XD

Re: Minecraft!
Every couple of months, my friend asks me if I wanna play minecraft again. So we do. Him, his girlfriend, and me. It's fun for the first few days, but then we get pretty bored and end up just trolling his girlfriend.
We steal her horses, start fires in her house, and dig a lot of secret tunnels.
Minecraft isn't as fun as it is when you first start playing. When you start out, you have so much to learn and explore in the game. Giving you things to explore is what the game is best at. Once you've played for a while, however, you start following the same strategies, building the same homes, and all of the biomes blend together. Then the game gets stale and it's hard to shake that feeling. As you learn more about the game, it loses more of its magic.
I still play minecraft from time to time, but I can't get myself to play for more than a week or two, and certainly not without other people to play with. RIP Minecraft.
