Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
Sorry I thought I posted this
I'll give a brief description of the map ... as soon as I go find it and remember the boundary's of the districts. (and the parts in brackets are the original names for the areas)
Ok the yellow district to the north (Field's Rising) is the wealthy district, full of big mansions and allot of things expensive. I had a plan that it was the highest district as well, with people living there being able to look out over their balconies and see the entire city. Home to the upper class and elite.
The Red center is the (Tranquil Center) main square or the CBD (Central Business District), the second highest and where most of the parks, libraries and all the nice things would be for everyone to access. Basically between Upper and middle class.
The green district to the south (Royalburg Hill) is the third higest and the middle class area, with most shops, markets and schools, as well as the barracks.
The blue district to the east (Dawnside) is a sort of half step down from the green area, being only a bit lower then the green area. The blue area is more industrial with all of the forges, furnaces, foundries and factories.
The Purple area in the west (Westriver) is the second lowest and the dark underworld type of place. The second poorest with allot of crime and allot of 'seedy joints' or black markets.
The dark blue district reaching from the west to the south of the purple district is the slums (The scrapheap) ... Basically it's a junkyard of house, people and junk
Hopefully that makes sense ...
Also can this be Boulder City?

Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
Hey Cross. Do the adepts and seers control the elements telepathically or like bending?
Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
Bending requires certain movements and poses to control the element, such as using certain Kung Fu styles for certain elements (Fire = Tiger, Air = Crane, Earth = Preying Mantis, Snake = Water).
Telepathically means you can stand still, not make a move and move the elements ... really handy if you're tied up and unable to move.

Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
Telepathically, but it takes great focus and the exertion of synergy, which you can run out of and pass out, kind of like energy or mana.

Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
Honestly I thought the whole movement thing was just fancy showmanship or something...

Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
ah k ... I understand the whole mana ... one thing I hate in WoW and games like that is being in the middle of a big battle and run out of mana or energy ...
This should be fun ...

Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
Blunt but true! Why make and expert RPG if the creator can't follow the guidlines for it himself?

Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
just creating the story which is really restricted to what is going on based on a game it will be only for 3 people more might be added as it goes but we will see becuase it might be hard to follow at first

Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
ok to make lightning with water is simple
As the water droplets move in a cloud they form friction. This friction give the clouds a negative charge. And since opposites attract and the solid ground has a positive charge it creates a spark ... otherwise know as lighting which takes two seconds to hit the ground, and heats the air to a temperature 10 times hotter than the surface of the sun ...
Adam Savage: Mythbuster: It's Scientific, ha ha ha ha.
So water droplets + movement = Friction = negative charge
Negative charge (Cloud and water) + positive charger (Solid ground) = Spark (Lightning)

Re: A World in Flames [Closed]
Sorry Cross, if you're lurking I edited the sign up thread to show the players, which I also colored so it shows their element as well. I didn't know if i should add Derpy and Kero to that list as well since they've left and i was going to take Grape (TheMadOne) one off that list as well ...
Is that ok?
