I recently began playing l4d2, which is a GREAT zombie game and stress relief.
If you like blood, zombies, guns, or video games, you should really check this out.

Even better then startling the witch is startling the witch by throwing a Molotov at it and running like crazy either screaming or laughing and hopeing it doesn't catch you ...

Also allot of fun to set a Tank on fire ... just got to make sure it doesn't get you afterwards

The witches frequently get you. The best tactic for tackling one is to surround it with shotties and one guy with a rifle. Rifle guy sight in and shoots it, making it angry, before turning and running while the rest of the team shoots it with the shotties. Not too difficult.
Tanks are a pain in the ass.
Also, I never played the first one, so I find it great, especially if it were on its own.
