First mission?
Re: Star Wars: Rogue Traders
Maybe if you post a bit more and get some description in there we'd have a better idea of Jarik. The whole gas station robbery had to be moved on because you weren't posting - tha dunt see me complaining.

Re: Star Wars: Rogue Traders
Name: ARN-247 /Aron Trotskovich.
Age: 2
Race: Holodroid
Role: Mechanic
Appearance: ARN is tall at 5’9 with a lean humanoid build. He has an appearance similar to a protocol droid (C-3PO) without the external case, with several small metal plates and retro-reflective panels running down his arms, legs and across his torso. His right arm is slightly larger and bulkier with a pivot in the wrist which switches out his hand for a small blaster capable of packing a punch. As a holodroid ARN can cloak his appearance using a ‘skin-tight’ force-field and holograms to create the illusion, the force-field acting as sim-skin. ARN’s default appearance is a young man with fair skin, short chestnut brown hair (which is not simulated and pure hologram) and dull blue eyes. His right arm is cybernetic so he can keep the pivotal gun hand.
Equipment/Clothing: ARN’s default clothes are an old shirt under a jacket with Clone Trooper plates sewn on the shoulders and arms, large black pants covered in belts. ARN doesn’t wear shoes.
Backstory: ARN was designed by a small company owned secretly by Palpatine hoping to create assassin droids on a station in the far flung reaches of the galaxy. ARN’s creator, Leon Trotskovich used the protocol droid model and came up with the idea of an assassin the could perfectly blend into any crowd or culture using holograms. After his creation ARN was trained by Separatist specialists in a myriad of combat styles and forms to counter both clones and droids, just in case. Trotskovich also taught him numerous mundane skills to help his infiltration; engineering and mechanics were ARN’s favourite subjects.
ARN was brought into the larger universe when the republic clones found and attacked the station. ARN managed to fight them off, but the station was compromised about to explode. ARN made it to his room looking for his creator, but only found his corpse.
ARN made it to an escape pod and off the station before it was destroyed, and he managed to escape the Republic cruiser hovering nearby as well. He made it safely to a nearby civilised planet and did what he was trained to do.
He disappearered.
NOTE: ARN’s model and design would later be used for PROXY of the Forced Unleashed I and II. I don’t care that they’re now non-canon.

Re: Star Wars: Rogue Traders
I'm not sure if a droid character would fit what we need here, though it's a nice concept for a character. The problem I have with it will that it would be really difficult to play given that every kind of interaction would be dependant on programing, and the character would seem really flat because of it. I have no problem using this character later on, but as a playable character, I just can't see how it would work :/

Re: Star Wars: Rogue Traders
Ok then. Worth a shot. Still aiming towards the mechanic, but may change to a doctor / something else a team of smugglers needs due to waning confidence in playing a mechanic (I have like no knowledge of the subject besides rewatching Firefly and Star Trek with Simon Pegg as Scotty)
Re: Star Wars: Rogue Traders
A doctor could work, though maybe a hybrid role would stop you being as bored, as I cam imagine you would get bored with it. Conor already has mechanics covered pretty well, so what about a combat medic or something, so you'd have a reason to leave the ship?

Re: Star Wars: Rogue Traders
Or some kind of hacker or software specialist, like a scout?

Re: Star Wars: Rogue Traders
Cool character, just keep an eye on the rp, to get an opportunity, though I would recommend waiting until the eavesdrop mission is finished with before making any moves. If you like, I can pm some potential ways to introduce him into the rp.
